heey so i have to do a task for music on school
we had to take our favourite song and explain what the lyrics mean of the song and talk about the artist and so so I took last resort from Papa Roach but I know about what the lyrics are in dutch and so but I wanted to here as many other explaination i all ready spread this on a blog and so but I would like to here what you really mend with the song

I've always believed that song was about thoughts of suicide because you can't seem to get happy and nothing is going right.
It's always seemed like one of the easier PR songs to de-code.
Yeah it's about suicide- Jacoby wrote it about his roommate/Best friend.
I agree. It deals with depression and suicidal thoughts.

I think that last resourt is about what happens when everything else fails and you really want something but u don't have a way of getting it so you punish yourself.....

Yeah jacoby wrote it about a friend he had, which i think tried to commit suicide. I think this song is really about putting the blame on yourself when everything goes wrong. You simply don't know what else to do, it's about hating your life so much and have so dark feeling , that you just want everything to go away, by killing yourself so that you can't get into more trouble and can't hurt others.
it's also about that when everything is going wrong it's hard to pull yourself back up, you just keep digging your own grave deeper and deeper. hope that helped a bitXD I know i'm confusing but thats just when i reflect:D
I beleive Last Resort is about everything that's happened to you and after so long you reflect on it and begin to think its your fault. After that you tend to go into a self doubt stage and then a complete downward spiral from there. Like loving no one including yourself and having thoughts of suicide or mutalation or other forms of self destruction.
