you should go more into the heavy stuff because you guys havnt done a heavy record yet so that would be cool to see you guys do a heavy record

All this anti-RAP BEWLSHEEEIT IS such fukkery!
Telling Artists what NOT to do is like saying they can ONLY create Art in one format.
Its like using a coloring book & crayons instead of a canvas & palette!
Or a lining dot-to-dot in the dark.
& Its not like PAPA ROACH actually made RAP RECORDS & or Jacoby is some kinda thuggy gangsta-rapper; he doesnt sing about bitches & hoes & poppin 40s or movin kilos. He sings about relevant issues that obviously matter cause thats why we be talkin PAPA ROACH 24/7!!!
& IF HE WAS A RAPPER, HE WOULD STILL BE KICK ASS!!!
But PAPA ROACH has never been RAP; they simply used a dynamic musical fusion, & Jacoby sometimes spits it with a RAP -ish flow & it creates a pioneer like new sub-genre of ROCK THAT CANT EVEN BE CONFINED UNDER A LABEL. Its part of his talent that he brings to the table to combine with everything else that makes the MAGIC OF PAPA ROACH.
Thats not just remarkable, thats a mothafuckin Masterpiece: Papa Roach Style.
They ALWAYZ bring somthin NEW! Bet your ass U will Love it or U JUST DONT GET IT.

I must say, TIGHTROPE & is a TIGHT effin Masterpiece! My MOST DEF FAVE!

I DONT MEAN SAY THEY havent grown from smaller Insects into full blown Angels over the years.
I LOVE EVERY ALBUM & EACH SONG HAS VERY SPECIAL MEANING & reflects their developing Superhuman Musical Strengths.
They do INDEED develop not just lyrically but YES, MUSICALLY with every album & TOUR. Something I was Lucky enough to scope out on the scene for myself within THREE DIFFERENT TOURS ALL IN ELEVEN SHORT MONTHS.
BUT MIND YOU: THEY CAME OUT READY TO ROCK FROM THE JUMP!!!
& I just PERSONALLY relate MORE to the songs on INFEST; Im from the HOOD & IM OLD SCHOOL. THATS JUST ME.
BUT IM A TRUE BLUE PUNK ROCKER AT HEART. NEITHER IS ANY LESS OR MORE THE REAL ME.

Much as I dig this tune, its one of the micro-few that took a lil while to grow on me. The music is ULTIMATE. Ya know I LOVE the vocals, & much as I really dont care for - U KNOW - WHORES!!!
I really dont feel 100% comfortable with that word.
BUUUUUT!!! Only cause I dont like to see women being labeled or judged or wrongly accused.
Ive been in the position myself more than once of BEING LABELED, JUDGED & WRONGLY ACCUSED.
& AS A WOMAN I PERSONALLY FEEL ITS PARTICULARLY MORE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE ANY TYPE OF STIGMA.
HOWEVER!!!
Like every other LOYAL FAN, I HAVE NOT ONLY LEARNED TO LOVE IT, BUT TRULY FEEL THE FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE OF THIS MASTERPIECE.

hmm, definitely no rap, i mean I love papa roach and some of the songs they rap on are not so bad, but their old stuff, just terrible i hate rap. But I really would love if they continue with the sound they had on their album Time For Annihilation.. I loved it, and if they had more songs like that it would be great I think, but songs like tightrope would be good too :)

Their last album was the live album with tracks from every generation, wasn't it? So you mean like ... the sound of all their albums?

But yeah, dupstep was a joke, they play instruments anyway. But it would be cool if they made another (not) hidden track, light Tightrope with a totally different style than whatever is going to be on that album.
Surf music would be so cool. And the title could be ... Getting away with Surf. Or Between Whales and Sharks.

Outspoken as I may seem, Im really quite shy & felt too awkward to throw this one out there; BUT, NOW Ive actually heard another band release something EXACTLY LIKE what I was thinking.

I thought it would be would be TRULY WILD to hear how PAPA ROACH would lay down an uber style throwback, like Doo Wop.
I know it sounds corny at first, but I dont mean just recycled & covered & redone...
I mean revamped & rehashed & re-cut & served up PAPA ROACH STYLE!

The band that has a track like this on their album, & they are not softcore by any means, is the one I posted in the MUSIC forum: The Monroes.
If you go to their site & listen to their samples, the track is called "Bumpy Ride". When I heard it, Im like:
DAMN THIS IS JUST LIKE WHAT I WAS HOPING PAPA ROACH MIGHT TRY!!!
