Metamorphosis sucks balls
Is it just me or did Metamorphosis really suck the big one? I was a big fan of papa roach specially back in the day with last resort, infest, and all those other great songs with their out of this world rap/ metal/ screamo/ rock genre and attitude but what the hell happened? I recently read jacoby's interview on ultimate guitar claiming that this album has finally reached the point they want it to be at and to quote him exactly "we have a sound of our own. Nobody compares us to anybody anymore. Papa Roach stands...We're in a class of our own." WHAT THE FUCK JACOBY??!! you went from your rap/ metal/ screamo/ rock genre to just plain EMO... EMO EMO EMO. Don't get me wrong your still a talented group of musicians but listen "WE"(being the entire world) DO NOW COMPARE YOU TO EVERY OTHER EMO BAND OUT THERE! you guys had a different sound and then gradually followed everyone else. You guys have made it real far in your lives and kodoos to you for all the success you've had but face it the music went way downhill...

This is the style of music they are comfy with now. Would you prefer for them to still be releasing nu metal and not enjoying it ? I certainly wouldn't...

well its your opinion but some people think different but for me i think that some of the songs are too light and not enough push to it but idk they should try to make songs more like legacy or between angels and insects but overall its a great album

im with everyone else, yes you have your opinoin but you don't come to the bands site and trash them about their new album? they worked super hard on this and i thinks its the best album ..ever.

Personally (correct me if I am wrong) but I think the band would enjoy some constructive criticism. Granted the original poster could have constructed his review A LOT differently and giving GOOD details on what he liked and didn't like.
