What happened to the band that I loved? All of the new songs from Metamorphosis album make me think that you did all that only for money. What about old powerful songs? Like Last Resort, Between Angels and Insects. Not crappy Lifeline. I hope Jacoby or any member of the band reads it, and thinks about what I wrote, becuase I expect them to have strong and powerful songs in future. And don't say that I'm not right, don't be lickasses, I know what I'm writing.

Alright, word "fuck" is a bit too harsh. But it really makes me mad when I think that they stopped making songs that I loved. I spend all my money on that album and all I got is "shitty lifeline".

I love everything Papa roach has ever done....I love how they have grown and progressed over the years....with that being said I just want to say don't go getting to soft on us on the next one ok guys!!!!

See to be perfectly honest - Papa Roach are ont of the VERY few bands that have managed to progress and evolve yet still retain their signature sound/feel. Yeah metamorphosis is different - but guess what - bands change and people change. No matter how long a band together - the music will ALWAYS change into something different.
I love this album - and saying you like does not make you a 'lickass' as it was put. I'm not going to sit and say about how great they were. You embrace the chnage for what it is and go from there. This album is Full of emotion and power - one of the strongest I've heard from them in fact. Some fo their older songs will always be their anthems but Metamorphosis definately deserves it's place in P.Roach's catalogue. This is a well made and powerful album that drove me crazy.
It's all just my opinion of course but I don't know how people can say Papa Roach have diminished with their sound. This album is anything but.
I look at it this way any and every song that Jacoby writes or sings will be awsome! He is talented in every way and every song he writes about means somethin to him..SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!

I like the new stuff...it's not better or worse then anything else they've done. I like a few songs off all their albums, I've yet to buy a PR album and love ALL the songs, hell I've only bought two albums all year that I've loved ALL the songs on...it's not a big deal.
They're a band folks, they change. I like the change. They still put on a wonderful show and that's what matters to me.
I like the new album, about the same as the older stuff. sure theres a few tracks on I aint to keen on, but theres still some on there I think are fucking fantastic

bands grow up....its been 10 years. you cant and shouldnt expect a band to keep the same sound or style for that long. I still prefer Lovehatetragedy to anything but i like listening to how they've grown. if im in the mood for harder shit i throw in Infest, but if i want to hear Jacoby actually sing, then ill throw in some of their new shit. It happens with almost every band; Bands grow and their fans either grow with them or they dont.....bottom line.

If Papa Roach were still making albums like Infest, there would be no Papa Roach right now. They would have died with nu metal a long, long time ago. And it gets under my skin when ppl blame evolution as the band "selling out". If music stayed stagnant, music would suck ass today. And yes, the guys took a risk changing their style. Some will embrace it, some will not. The guys make music for themselves and if ppl happen to like it, then that's just a bonus. Metamorphosis isn't my favorite album but I still like it. I respect the heart and the messages that they put into the songs. The guys aren't kids anymore, they are grown men and their music has evolved into a more mature sound. I am glad that they love to progress and experiment and try to better themselves everyday. That's what music needs to stay alive.
