she thinks that all bands are the just the lead singers. it annoys me cuz she only calls jacoby "papa roach" and doesnt give the rest of the band props. i mean she loves them all because i got her into them but she only see jacoby (not that theres anything wrong with that cuz he is a very gorgous man =] but i mean give the whole band credit. ur thoughts please.

Yeah... that makes me mad too. You should tell her that the Papa Roach ((or any band, for that matter..)) she loves reallsy wouldn't be anything without the rest of the members... Jacoby can't sing, play drums, AND play guitar at the same time... nor could they have drunken "band meetings" if there's only one person.. and he's the drunk one. =o! haha ;]

yeah...I think people just don't think. when they say I'm going to see HIM, or HE came out and played last resort, or PAPA ROACH went into the crowd! or all that. one of my biggest peeves ever.
a band is a group, and they deserve to be called they. lol...but I don't get mad if people don't know all of their names and stuff, cuz I sure as hell like bands that I wouldn't even know if their drummer walked past me on the street..but I don't think they should call Jacoby Papa Roach....you wouldn't call Phil Collins Genesis, or Gerard Way MyChem.
That Just Pisses me off!!! How can you just call jacoby Papa Roach. I now Jacoby is an amazing singer but all the guys have earnt that name with some timeless classics, and awesome videos, and the fact that tony had just joined the band he had to learn all the old songs. What dedication. I think your mum is mentaly hilarious if she just calls jacoby Papa Roach. That is a tad bit annoying indeed, it just seems a bit disrespectful to the rest of the band IMO. But hey, if she's listening to the band, let her call them whatever she likes, shes still showing her support.
my mom loves them. but i hate it like i said before. but she did it with guns n roses too. idk but i always correct her on it but i think she does it to annoy me or something. what i also hate when she knows the words to the songs she changes them to make them "sound better" but she doesnt just do it to our band but she does it to even her favorite bands so idk what to say to that. idk shes stupid but she always buys my PR tickets whenever theyre in concert and shes more then willing to go with me.

yeah i hateeee when people do that!! lead singers aren't just the band. if they didnt have their guitarist and bassist and drummer they'd be outta luck.i've noticed alot of people do this with good charlotte.they just pay attention to joel and benji madden and forget all about poor paul thomas billy martin and dean butterworth

and i was watching it and though: dude, i would fucking die to see them, or even get to talk to them, and you guys don't even know who the drummer is!!
