i've seen all the available episodes now and read all the books, can't wait for season 3 and book ten!!! I think the story gets better as it goes along. Much prefer TB to the vampire diaries (i love tvd) and (obviously) twilight. x

I bloody love it!!! I've been hooked since episode 1 of series 1 lol. I just love the way the whole show has been put together, we've only had series 2 in the UK for just over a month now and every episode still leaves me anxious. I just wanna know what that psycho maryanne is up to. And as for Jason talk about easily brain washed. :-D

Oh mannn, I love this show!

I read the books first, and I must say, the TV show is more enjoyable AFTER you read them!

Pam is, and will always be, my favourite vampire.

Wait... where are you watching it online?
I've been trying to get to watch it, but every site I try it starts at Season 1 Episode 2.
    And that's really inconvenient.

I love True Blood. This is one of the rare instances when the show totally trumps the book it's based off of. I still haven't seen the newest episode of season three yet....Oh well I'll get to it soon enough...

I used to watch it onthis site a long time ago, before we got cable back. I was happy to see they still keep it up to date with True Blood! Enjoy! :)

PS, some links may be dead, but majority of episodes, people have also posted alternative links that will work! Megavideo only allows you to watch 72 minutes and then you have to wait a certain amount of time. I'm thinking it's an hour, so you can only watch one episode on that, really, but all other links are unlimited time.

What is the book called to this series? I know it is not True Blood, I started reading the first one because I was living with my older bro, and his roommate was obsessed with the show and the books and I started reading the first one, he was going to let me finish it, but he moved out, then I did and I forgot about the books. I realized the other day I never finished it lol.
Which is odd because I got into it, wasn't really into the TV show though, the first episode I saw was like the last of the season and I was confused.

These novels are known as The Southern Vampire Mysteries/Sookie Stackhouse Novels. You have Dead Until Dark, Living Dead In Dallas, Club Dead, Dead to the World, Dead as a Doornail, Definitely Dead, All Together Dead, From Dead to Worse, Dead and Gone, and Dead in the Family.

Also, the reason you wee confused is because the show has SO much going on at once, you definitely can't skip episodes and be able to still follow the show! If you wanna get into it, I suggest watching Season 1-3 in their exact order in order to follow the show and enjoy it to the fullest! :)

Thanks! I new it had the word dead in it lol.

I don't have HBO(they're on that channel from what I remember). But I did see that people were talking about them being on the internet so once I get the internet I'll watch them. But after I read the book, is the first book the first season? Or is it a few books into one season.
    I like reading books first.
