Serj Tankian??? (SOAD)

So has anyone listened to the solo stuff yet? I was on amazon this morning (totally unrelated) and spotted that a new serj album was out for $4. took a shot in the dark and it turned out to be pretty sweet. kind of like SOADs old stuff. i dont know why, but i never pictured his solo stuff to be any good : S
