So disappointed with RIR for their handling of this event. in a word... CLUSTERFUCK! the sound for all the bands was terrible ( but just gotta say i was at the back of the ampatheater) thanks to roachevelle i got to hear a clean recording of the new song BURN which i did hear live but couldn't have told you about it because it was just crappy crappy audio for anybody more then a couple hundred feet away. But still love the Roach and it just makes me even more ready for thier next show! Better luck to those heading to their next PR show! Hope it sounds better for you, for me it sounded as if a pillow were between me and the show! Love ya busta! one of these years we'll have to catch up!

Awesome show!!!!!!!!! I was a few rows from the stage! we were smart enough to get in the pavilion early and stay there because I knew it would fill up! Jacoby was hilarious, I have a great pic of him wearing a bra I will try to figure out how to post and the new song was great! I thought the guys sounded really good as usual!!

Security at the venue was so fucking dumb. they said there were 20,000 people there and the amphitheater only held 10,000 at most I'm assuming. They only let people in between sets, and if people left their seat, only they were allowed to have it back even though it was GA? So they're like "We don''t recognize you. You can't go near there." I'm, thinking "No shit you don't recognize people. There are 20,000 people here.." but anyways.
I got to "listen" to skillet from a gate but you couldn't hear anything cuz the sound sucked. I couldn't get there earlier due to a track meet+3 hour drive lol. But I met some nice people when I did get there. Got in before Chevelle started. Ended up in a seat next to two guys talking about pokemon and naruto, aka my kinda people lol. Couldn't get into the pit area they had due to said security, making this my first Papa Roach show since August 2007 that I wasn't in the front for. The set list was the average radio show set and people were just standing around for the majority of all of the bands which was kind of confusing. New song was fantastic to hear. I couldn't see shit even standing on my toes the entire time.

I brought my ukulele in the car just in case, which turned out to be a great thing cuz I had it when Tobin came out and I started playing Last Resort and he got Justin out there to film me playing Last Resort and Lifeline and Jerry came out at that point, followed by Tony, then Jacoby. All but Tobin signed my uke...and Jacoby licked it.......

So, I was front row for the whole show, really sore but tooootally worth it.
They opened with GAWM, which I'm kinda sad they didn't open up with Days Of War/Change or Die, but as said before it was a festival gig.

A couple of us waited around outside after the show. Thanx to Racheal the guys came out. I got Jerry & Tonys signatures. Then I got Jacoby to sign a crackhead on my arm. Hopefully I'm going to get them all inked today :)

so i llive in richmond va and ive been to this chili cook off for the last 3 years and well this year had the most ppl come out ever i do under stand yes the ampatheator has one of the worlds shittyest sond system in the world but you dont have to over criticize it. i was luck enouogh to get into the stadium befor skillet and make my way into the pit i lied alot to get in. sowy to anyone who didnt get in. i mandaged to get my dads camra befor chevelle went on i mandaged again to get back to the pit make my way yo the very front for papa roach. papa roach was fantastic if you were in the very front i wish i coulda have had all of you in the front with me. the concert was fantastic it was completley awesome i took some videos so i will post them soon on youtube their better then all the videos ive seen so far so ill post them soon

Chili Cook off was amazin! For Skillet,had kinda decent seats, Chevelle was ok but my friends and I got excellent seats for Papa Roach cuz theyre our fave band! Jacoby was sooo hot on stage..my friend almost passed out 3 times.haha. It was hilarious when Jacoby put on the bra and ws like "This doesnt look right,does it?" too funny. but yea had a great time and def going back next year!

Absolutely amazing show. I always think the Papa Roach shows just can't get any better and then I see them again and I'm blown away. I had a wonderful spot, front row and center. My only complaint is that it ended too soon. Great energy from beginning to end and the new song "Burn", I'm loving it! Glad I was able to be a part of the first show of 2010. Can't wait for the shows on April 23, 24, and 25.

So yeah I know that I was in the back and yes PR IS PR no matter how bad the sound, but by far the sound was the worst! even last year in DC when they actually had sound board trouble the sound was way, way better. Clearly from what is on YouTube, the sound got better as you got closer. from my vantage point it was all just garbled. glad you did better though, and I'll be closer next time! BET ON IT!

I was going to go to that! But my parents didn't want me to go to Richmond by myself =( but I heard it was kick ass!

This was my first Papa Roach show ever and it was perfect! I loved how Jacoby kept running out into the crowd! I wasn't in the front but I still had a great view of everything. I definitely MUST see them again!
