Awesome Show!!! Papa never disappoints!!! The guys all came out in full force and by the third song the crowd was really into it. I wish more people would have turned out to see them though! East Coast DE, PA, MD, NJ needs to represent and encourage the boys to come back. No new song, however I guess they will play some o the festival tour this summer with Shinedown!!! The last show at HOB was a sell out, PLEASE come back to HOB A.C. again!!! LOVE Papa!!!! See you guy in Bristol, VA on 9/2! Can't Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the pre-recorded opening notes of Getting Away with Murder to the final power chords of Angels and Insects, Papa Roach owned the stage at the House of Blues in Atlantic City and rocked the asses of the crowd in attendance.

Fifteen songs in sixty three minutes on stage left very little time for useless chatter, solos or overdrawn song endings. Papa Roach hit the stage and blasted through one song after another with high energy and ear splitting intensity that kept the crowd on their toes and rockin' all night. The crowd barely had time to cheer the end of one song before the boys blasted into the opening notes of the next song in the set. I'm not sure how Jacoby can maintain such a high level of intensity throughout the set without taking a few short breaks here and there but he somehow does it and Jerry, Tobin and Tony keep the pace hard and fast right along with him. It's really hard to believe that such a wall of sound can come from three guys, amazing chops from all of them.

There were no new songs in the show from the upcoming release which was a little disappointing but the selection from their extensive catalog was more than enough to keep everyone happy. When the last notes of Angels finished Jacoby told the crowd "We gave you all we've got tonight, we love you and goodnight", I think most of the crowd assumed there would be an encore, but the boys left the stage and didn't come back. The old adage of "Leave them wanting more" certainly was in full force here as the crowd certainly wanted more but were happy to have had their asses kicked for 15 monster renditions of PR classics.

The setlist was as follows but not positive of the correct order of the middle of the show songs, but the first three and last three are definitely in order.

    Getting Away with Murder
    ...To Be Loved
    Burn
    Forever
    Kicked in the Teeth
    Time is Running Out
    Scars
    Enemy
    Lifeline
    One Track Mind
    Blood Brothers
    Hollywood Whore
    Dead Cell
    Last Resort
    Between Angels and Insects

Opening acts Spider Rocket (I missed them) and Scarlett Carson.

Bottom line is that it was an awesome show and a great venue to see them play at. I look forward to my next chance to catch them and am really anticipating the new album in October.

Thanks for a great show guys, no one can beat your energy in a live performance.

This was the first show I've ever been to and it was nothing short of amazing! From the beginning of Getting Away With Murder to the closing song Between Angels and Insects, the evergy was incredible! The crowd certainly brought it! The energy that the guys put out there was amazing. House of Blues is a pretty cool venue as well.

I got there really early, so while I was walking around at about 5:30 (doors didn't open till 7) I walked past the main entrance, down the hall a little bit, just walking around......and then I look to my right down a small hallway that led to a door. Sitting against the wall about 5 feet away from me was none other than Tobin! Add to that I'm pretty sure the guy he was talking to (who had his back to me) was Tony. Had to do a double take but it was definitely them. I said a quick "whats up guys? rock on" to them....they nodded and acknowledged me. I didn't want to make a big scene because there was already somewhat of a line near the entrance that was pretty close to the hallway. Anyways, I thought that was really cool.

The setlist that the poster above me has is correct. No new songs, but still a fantastic show. I have some video so I may upload it here. Opening act was Spider Rockets who I thought was okay, then came Scarlet Carson, who was pretty good I must admit. But no one compares to Papa Roach!

Another thing that was pretty cool was after the last song, Jacoby's older son Jagger played a little bit of a solo on the drums, then bowed to the crowd. The crowd certainly loved it, looks like there's another musician in the Shaddix family. Thumbs up to that!

Overall, it was a great show. Even though it was my first, nothing will top this show, until I see them again that is! I drove down from Long Island, so after the show ended at about 11, I didn't get home until almost 4. But hey, it was well worth it. This is something I'll remember for a long time, going to my first show and seeing my favorite band of all time. I can finally say I've experienced a Papa Roach show, and I loved it!

Thanks for the amazing show guys! I'm definitely coming to see you guys on Uproar!
