To say I was happy to hear about this tour would be the understatment of my life...so anyone else pumped for this tour? Anyone hittin more than one date? Thinking this will be our last dose for a lil while till the next album comes out. Any cool tidbits please share!!

So far I'm having a dilemma...its 3500 miles roundtrip to do Tampa, Boca Raton, Winston-Salem NC, Portsmouth VA, then Rochester NY. Its 2700 for Winston-Salem, Portsmouth, Rochester then Ohio. But if I do the 2700 thats hinging on the hope they will do more Northeast shows. And the 3500 one may require me to drive 22 hours by myself...if my hubby can't come. Scared but excited.

I was afraid just to even try to the 7 hour drive from here to Camden, NJ by myself; BUT I WOULD HAVE IF I DIDNT END UP TOO ILL AT THE LAST MINUTE!
Had to cancel everything :\
Then to my surprize there WERE ACTUALLY STILL TIX & VIP FOR WATERTOWN!
I WAS IN MAJOR SHOCK & DISBELIEF! but it gave me a couple days to get better, a much shorter drive, & no out of town hotel required.
WELL IT WAS ALMOST THAT EASY!!!
I hope U have multiple cellphones with more than one reliable GPS & ON-STAR & AAA PLUS ANOTHER AUTO CLUB (not sarcasm, I sincerely want U to be safe & well, whatever it takes!!!)
I have had some nightmares on roadtrips, with or without company, & it just so happens, yes, even trying to commute to ROCK CONCERTS & YES EVEN PAPA ROACH!!!
LMAO (i can laugh now but it was hard to laugh then; in fact it was hard to fight back the tears!!!)
BUT THEY EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT COZ I WAS VIP & IT MADE ME 3 HOURS LATE HAHAHA!!!
Talk about a class act, they still made my nite! Terrified, shaking, trembling, still getting the aftershock of trauma & tears, they were SO FREAKIN INCREDIBLY SWEET & AWESOME & CHARMING I LEFT THERE GRINNING & SWOONING & MY HEAD WAS IN THE CLOUDS ANYWAYZ!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
Buy Road Maps too of the areas where U will be!!! I know this sounds like overkill & unnecessary especially if U have GPS, BUT I THINK IT COULD BE A MAJORLY SMART INVESTMENT!!! I didnt buy mine before my big trips but still always needed them by the time I came home & usually WASTED A LOT OF TIME SEARCHING FOR THEM & GETTING MORE & MORE LOST!!!

Wish this tour was coming to Kansas City.. I know you are playing near St Louis, but I am a single mother and I can't afford to travel to see you. As much as I would love too.. Did see at Rockfest and that rocked it but I can't wait to see them again. Please come back to Kansas City

Any VIP's for the tour?
No VIP's that I know of and another one of us stated that they probably won't since this is festival like and its not just their tour - however I always keep my fingers crossed. I am finding some early admission/parking fees so I'm on the search. West Virginia had the early admission fee and somewhere else had Last Resort parking which might mean early entry too (as I've had other venues let those people in first). Anyone else got any info? Also I'm looking for recommendations for hotels down there.

I'm pretty happy I got tickets for the Houston show on Aug 28. I didn't expect the band to come back this way since they were just here at the end of May. I am pretty stoked to be able to see them again this soon.
