Buckcherry And Avenged Sevenfold Announce Continuation Of Successful Co-Headlining Arena Tour

Major Market US Dates with Papa Roach and Saving Abel Begin January 28th in Salt Lake City, UT; Tickets On Sale Beginning December 12, 2008

Los Angeles, CA (December 09, 2008) - Building on the success of their current co-headlining tour, Avenged Sevenfold and Buckcherry have announced the next leg beginning on January 28th in Salt Lake City, UT. The next dates on the arena tour include Papa Roach and Saving Abel, offering fans 4 bands for under $40.00. The Buckcherry and Avenged Sevenfold package is considered to be one of the three major successful rock tours of the season, along with AC/DC and Metallica.

"We're following the same model (as the first leg), keeping ticket prices low, lots of underground marketing, we've been really careful and it has worked" says Andrew Goodfriend, Buckcherry's agent at TKO.

Fred Frank from Frank Productions, who were a part of the last leg and have signed on to promote much of the major market arena tour observes, “Here is a situation where the bands realize what the economy is doing and have put together an incredible package that gives the fans more than their money's worth. It is also one of the few shows we've seen in a long time where the fans are there from the time the doors open to the time the last band leaves; they want to see ALL of them, they come to party and they stay for the show!"

Dubbed the Next Great American Rock Band, Buckcherry has evolved from playing in front of 200 people to sold-out crowds of tens of thousands in just two years. Buckcherry will be touring in support of their latest album, Black Butterfly, which was recently named iTunes Rock Album of the Year. The album produced iTunes choices for the #2 Rock Song of the Year, “Too Drunk" and the #8 Rock Song of the Year, "Rescue Me," as well as critically acclaimed songs such as "A Child Called It" and “Don't Go Away." The album debuted at #8 on Billboard's Top 200, giving the band their first Top 10 album debut. Black Butterfly follows the platinum success of 15, and hit songs like “Lit Up," “Everything," “Crazy Bitch" and the mainstream crossover smash ÓSorry." Black Butterfly was also recently ranked #1 on Stephen King's Top 10 albums of 2008 for Entertainment Weekly, stating, “Black Butterfly was the best hard-rock album I heard this year." The video for “Don't Go Away" can be seen on VH1.

Avenged Sevenfold have been on the road for more than a year, playing to packed arenas on the fourth annual Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour, as well as a European tour with rock legends Iron Maiden. The band is touring behind the self-produced Avenged Sevenfold, which topped the Billboard Alternative, Hard, and Rock charts the week after its release in October 2007 and is now certified gold. The follow-up to 2005's million-selling, hit spawning and MTV Video Music Award-winning, City of Evil, Avenged Sevenfold also debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, marking the biggest sales week ever for the quintet. It also saw the band gracing the covers of Revolver (twice), Guitar World, Guitar Player and Drum! magazines. Avenged Sevenfold recently captured their spectacular stage show in an acclaimed DVD/CD package called Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough, which features their elaborate April 10th hometown headlining show at the Long Beach Arena, as well as previously unreleased b-sides and other never-before-heard material.

Papa Roach pierced the record industry in 2000 with their triple-platinum major label Grammy Nominated debut album, Infest, on Dreamworks SKG. Two years later Lovehatetragedy debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200. In 2004, the band released the hook-heavy album, Getting Away With Murder, once again affirming the band's platinum status around the globe. Their fourth major label album was the next step in their evolution with The Paramour Sessions on Geffen Records (2006) receiving five out of five stars from Rolling Stone establishing Papa Roach as a consistent alternative rock force. Numerous Top 10 Billboard singles add to the bands list of accolades including "Last Resort," "Forever," "Getting Away With Murder," "Scars," and "To Be Loved." Papa Roach is currently completing their fifth album Metamorphosis, which will be released in early 2009.

Saving Abel have been on the road non-stop since the March, 2008 release
of their self titled debut from Virgin records. The band from Corinth, Mississippi, has enjoyed impressive success with their chart-topping, multi-format, smash debut single "Addicted," which hit #1 at mainstream rock radio, spent 11 consecutive weeks at #2 on the active rock chart and reached #7 at alternative radio before crossing to Top 40 where it is currently in the top 10 and in the top 15 at Hot AC.

At press time, the track is the most played song of 2008 at the active rock format. While "Addicted" is topping the pop charts, Saving Abel's second single "18 Days," a huge rock ballad dedicated to the troops, is heating up at rock radio where it is already top 10 at active rock and top 20 at alternative radio. Saving Abel continues to reach new heights on the sales charts as well. The album spent 3 consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart before debuting on the Billboard 200 in July. It has sold over 250,000 copies to date, while "Addicted" is approaching platinum status with over 850,000 digital single sales.
