Filipino food and my grandma
My Lola is going to live with us for about 3 weeks until she leaves to go back to the Philippines. I'm so happy! She has been here for two years, but I haven't gotten to spend much time with her because she's been living with my aunt.
We went to downtown St. Louis today to pick stuff up from the oriental store. God, I hate those places! It smells terrible, there's fish out in the open, live crabs, frozen headless chickens, etc. SICK. My mom, and sister are all like, "What kind of Filipino are you?!" just because I can't stand fish. BLAH! They're making Bagoong Alamang, and shrimp (WITH THE HEADS) tonight and it looks and smells so gross. Not a big fan of seafood, hahah.
Hopefully within the next week, we'll go back to St. Louis and visit the Arch. We've been talking about taking my grandma there ever since she arrived here and hopefully we actually do it. I haven't been to the Arch yet either, so I'm really looking forward to it! :D

Here's a picture of the St. Louis Arch http://www.orgsites.com/mo/stlchristianhomesports/StLouisArch.jpg. You can go inside and at the very top, there's windows so you can look over the city.
Fish= GROSS.
