Crue Fest: St. Louis, Missouri!
OMG! IT WAS AMAZING!
So, up first was Trapt. Well I didn't watch em. haha I was in line buying a P-Roach shirt. :D As I was in line I saw Xavier. (Buckcherry's drummer) I didn't go up to him though. I waved to him and he smiled and waved back as he was going backstage.
After Trapt was SIXX: A.M.!!!!!! They were fucking amazing! Me and Shawn (my cousin) had lawn seats. Well some lady gave us tickets to take the last row of seats so during their set we went up there. We got there and decided to go closer. (We were just before the pit.) Sixx: A.M. put on a great show! But I'm still jealous of Dj and he knows it. He's fuckin amazing on guitar. Well I think it was after they played we went to go to the side of the stage to meet them... wait no... maybe it was after Papa Roach... I dunno. I'll get to that in a second....
After Sixx: A.M. was PAPA ROACH!!!! They opened with Change or Die and the crowd digged it. I was singing word for word and TOBIN NOTICED ME! Me and Shawn were the only 2 standing up on our side. So, we pretty much stood out like a turd in a punch bowl. (: He pointed to me and I looked at Shawn like, "Was that for me?" and Tobin kept looking in my direction and then I pointed at my self with a confused face like "Was that for me?" TOBIN SMILED THEN QUICKLY GAVE ME THE HORNS!!!!!! During Time Is Running Out, Coby went into the crowd with a camera. After the song, he goes up to a girl and says "Excuse me. What is your name miss?" *girl says name* and Coby said "WELL LISA WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING ON YOUR ASS AT A ROCK SHOW?!" and everybody started laughing and cheering. During I Almost Told You That I Loved You Coby told us to jump. Me and Shawn were the only 2 jumping in our section and the people around us were sitting. COBY NOTICED US! I turned around and was jumping and telling ppl to get up and I turn back around, look at Coby and while he's singing he looks straight up at me with a big smile and points at me then gives me the horns! :D Near the end of the show, Tobin went to switch basses. Well Tommy Lee was at the side of the stage and I waved at him. He waved back then got Tobin and Tobin goes over to look and he grabs his shirt then gives me a thumbs up. (I was the only person on our side with a PR shirt at the time) (:
I think it was after P-Roach I saw James Michael and Dj Ashba!!! There were soooo many people around them it was almost impossible to see them. Well I snuck around behind them and I got James. I asked him to sign my guitar case and he did. Then I got a picture with him. (: I saw Dj and just before I gave him my marker to sign it, some secruity guard grabs both Dj and James by the waste and pulls him a away and Dj told me "Sorry. I'll be back!" About 45 min later, Dj and James come back but they had to go straight backstage. Dj was right in front of me and I said "Just real quick" and he said "I'll be back soon. I promise." Well I didn't see him again till after the Crue. so, I'll tell you about the Crue first. (:
BTW i didn't watch Buckcherry. I was waiting for Papa Roach but they came out to see the fans on the other side of the stage.
Motley Crue put on a great show!!! The crowd was going crazy when they hit the stage. Tommy came up to the middle of the stage with Jager (sp?) and takes a drink and says "You know, secruity here SUCKS! They told us to keep it PG-13 tonight. Maaaaan, FUCK THEM! Sorry St. Louis. No Tit E Cam tonight." and all the guys in the crowd were booing. Then he takes his Jager and gives it to someone in the crowd and tells them to take a drink and pass it back. Someone passed it to the side and Tommy said, "No fucker. I said to the back!" and was laughing. They played Home Sweet Home as an encore BTW. Ready for the best part? Oh, FYI I didn't meet Papa Roach. But that's okay. (:
I was outside the gates waiting for some of the bands to come out. Well, the only two that came was James and Dj. But they came from the back and was behind us. DJ REMEMBERED ME!!!!!!!! He comes up behind me, puts his hands on my shoulder, and his head right beside mine and whispers in my ear "A promise is a promise" and I turn around with a big smile and he had a big smile too and he held his arms out for a hug!!!! <3333 He grabbed my guitar case and said "Where would you like me to sign?" and I said "The skull. That part was left just for you." and he smiled and signed it. I told him "you know, I think you might just be my new favorite guitarist. You're fuckin insane on the guitar!" he smiled and said "Aw, thank you. Now who was your OLD *used great expression* favorite guitarist?" I said "Jerry Horton. But shhhhhh don't tell him!" and he laughed and said "Damn! I was looking forward to rubbing it in on him!" After he said that, he showed me what he'd do. He starts doing a gloating dance and was saying "HA! HA! HA! HA! I stole your fan! I stole you fan! You be jealous, you be jealous!" (He was doing it in the tune of X-Mas In Hell.) and we both started laughing really hard. I could have sworn he had been drinking but he said he wasn't... YET! Dj is such a goof. <3 I asked him for a picture and he said "Sure thing!" and some girl I forgot her name took it for me. Then more fans started coming around. Dj told me "Oh! before I forget! *digs into pocket* Here. *hands me his guitar pick* Keep up with that guitar girl. You'll be better than me someday *smiles*" PSH! Like thats gonna happen. Then I mooched my way over to James and he said "Oh, hey you!" and as he said that he went straight for a hug! :D Then some stupid bitch stole him away from me. ): BUT! Dj came back to me and asked how I liked the show. Of course I told him I had a blast. Then I said can I get another picture with you and James? Then he said "Well, do you just wanna take a photo shoot?" and I said "Well hell yeah! If you have the time! Add that shit to your myspace. After all, you are a myspace whore." and he laughed so hard. Aww he has an adorable smile. He kept calling James over (mind you, he had his arm around me the whole time! oh and he was shirtless!) and James was off in his own lil land. LOL! (Dj said that) and then he finally noticed Dj calling him and he came over and he said "ohhhh another one?!" and laughed a little. Then, after the picture they both hugged me! Dj said "grouuuuup huggggg" in this really cute voice! LOL! Then they said they were gonna go check out the other side of the stage. I went to go to the other side but I had to walk all the way around. I almost get there and a secruity dude stops me and said I couldn't go over there cuz the concert was over but I saw a group of fans over there... GAY!!
But, yeah. That was my night. I had a blast... I MISS DJ AND JAMES!!!!!! <333333
