On April 5th 1994 my hero Kurt Cobain shot himself. This year is the 17th anniversary of his death. R.I.P. Kurt Cobain. 8 years later my 2nd favorite musician of all time Layne Staley from Alice in Chains was found dead from a massive heroin overdose. R.I.P. Layne Staley. Never forgotten. Music lives on.

Who likes R.E.M.? I think they're an amazing band. Who agrees? And if you do agree have you heard their new album 'Collapse Into Now'? What do you think of it? And if you do like R.E.M. and haven't heard 'Collapse Into Now' I strongly recommend it.
