The Connection: 2012-present
Papa Roach entered the studio on November 1, 2011 - to work on a new album,aiming for a mid-2012 release.In the meantime, the band contributed a track, "Even If I Could", to the The Avengers soundtrack.

On June 15, 2012 the band announced in a live chat with fans on Youtube that the next album will be released on October 2 and that a title had not been decided. They also revealed new song titles to be "Where Did the Angels Go?", "Before I Die", "I Wish You'd Never Met Me", "Not So Beautiful", "Still Swinging", and "Leader of the Broken Hearts"

Papa Roach will participate on the main stage of the 2012 Uproar Festival along side Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, and Adelitas Way.

On June 23, the band announced that the new single will be Still Swinging. A few seconds sample of the new single Still Swinging has been released as well as the name of the upcoming album, which will be called "The Connection". A release date for the album is planned to be in October.
