Hey kids! I haven't blogged in a while. Tear :(
So this past weekend my town had it's annual carnival called Friendship Days. Cute, huh? It's basically just gives all ex-high school kids and older people to come back to down and drink in the beer garden...a lot. And of course do a little karaoke! :)
Anyways, each year during the days we have a Miss Nicollet pageant that is based on the interview portion and the talent portion. (Neither of which are judged by actual pageant judges. Just people not from our town.) And their both judged by a different group of "judges".
For the talent show I sang "My Immortal" by Evanescence. It's such a beautiful song and it was a lot of fun to sing. ( I'll upload it as soon as I can!) And I won the talent show :) Which was truthfully all I cared about cause I know I'm not all about "Beauty, Poise, World Peace" shit. There were 7 girls that ran and there were 3 runner-up's and 1 Miss Nicollet. Yep. I got none! Many people were pissed, actually it was kinda funny cuz I don't even care. I don't have to sit on a float and wave like an idiot all summer :) So following coronation, I went out with my sister, her friends, and drank. Sang a little karaoke. It was all good fun.

Ooooh! And I'm saving up for an electric guitar! Weee!
