Crue Fest was THE most AWESOME concert I have EVER been to. Of course, I am also in love with Jacoby Shaddix, lead singer of Papa Roach, so I am a bit biased. Seriously... you absolutely have to go to this concert. Even if you don't like the music, the idiots around you make it worth while. I PROMISE!
Pure class all around you! We had girls stripping and making out in front of us, the same beside us, and a couple actually having sex on the lawn behind us. This doesn't include the guy that walked around the lawn the whole time with a bag of beads and a sign that read "show me your tits". By the end of the night the tit guy had like 15 to 20 other guys following closely behind with camera phones in hand.
The music was awesome. The line up included Trapt, Sixx:AM, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, and of course Motley Crue. All the bands sounded great! I don't much care for Trapt and I only know one song of Sixx:AM, but they really sounded great. Papa Roach absolutely rocked it out! They sounded better live than on the CD. Buckcherry was also rockin'. I am not much of a Motley Crue fan, they were a little before my time, but still, the three songs I actually knew were awesome. Tommy Lee showed us his favorite part of the tour....the Tommy Lee Titty Cam!
The only downfall to the concert was the expenses. Tickets were reasonably priced. The concessions were ridiculious. $4 bottle h2o, $8 draft, $11 can of beer, $12 mixed drink, $5 nachos. Some of us spent a hella lot (no names mentioned)!
I think the best part was being there with friends! I had a blast!!!!! Thanks to Eric, Matt, Tucker, Tim, Jordan, Tana, and Andrew! Concert Crew Rocks! You guys are the best.....thank you so much for going! U ROCK!!! I love ya'll! We are so going back next year!
In conclusion, YOU HAVE TO GO TO THIS CONCERT!! Take lots of money, drink beer before you get there, don't do V.I.P. parking, it is a waste. Take the camera phone and make sure you know how to save the pics (EQ). If you want lots of action, take a bag of beaded necklaces and a sign like the Tit Guy! Oh, and there is a whole lot of hair there, so before you hit on a woman, make sure it IS a woman (once again, no names mentioned! U know who U R!! LMAO!!!)
