Everything is going so great right now - the best they've ever been actually! I think it's about time some good come my way and I finally feel like I'm really growing up and getting somewhere in my life after 20 years.

I stopped by Walmart this morning to complete my job offer, then left from there and went straight to the given location to get my drug test done. I am happy to be a little above minimum wage starting out. I'll be making $7.65. I've never done any drugs, so piece of cake! They told me that Walmart would get the results in 5-10 minutes, so I know they've gotten it. I also don't take or eat anything that would bring false positives (such as advil, poppy seeds, etc) so I'm just waiting on my background check to go through, which is empty. LOL, thank God. But it could be as long as two weeks before orientation, since they like to hire all spots beforehand so they can do all of us at once. So now I'm just in the waiting pool! Good thing is, there is only 3 more spots.

But, I'm finally going to college, it's been great! I just got in my first two Sookie Stackhouse novels, I also surprisingly received a check from the school, that says it's a Pell Refund, for $162, which gives me enough to get more than one pair of khakis and one shirt for work! :D

Now, times to save up for a car and a new laptop. My laptop sucks now, especially when I'm needing it for school work. if the charger comes unplugged even for a millisecond, it just completely shuts off and all my work is lost. Talk about aggravating?!
