Aw guys don’t ask what’s going on with me today, I’m probably over tired (can’t sleep well these days) – which always turns me into a very hyper person (talking too much, especially stupid stuff, telling too many jokes) but oh well, for once I’m not thinking about the things that bother me atm

So the second thing I wanted to tell you about is the funny ‘biological psychology’ class I had today.

At the moment we’re still learning basics (actually pretty boring for me, because ‘biology’ was one of my majors at school and I already learned what we’re doing know at my university b.p. classes) – the nervous system, cells, blabla. So I said usually it’s boring for me but today our professor had a funny idea
-> he was telling us about the “reaction time” of humans and wanted to make a little experiment. He told us all to sit down next to each other in the middle- section of the seats in the huge auditorium (there are always gaps between the small groups of people who actually talk to each other) and – we should take each others hands

His first funny comment: I know you’re all exited now, but I’m gonna leave on the lights

Then he explained the experiment: he would squeeze someone’s hand and this person should squeeze the hand of his/her neighbor et cetera… and the last person should shout out load
He would ‘measure’ the time it takes until the hand squeeze reaches the last person. (we were 113 students taking part in the experiment) – it should (technically) take 0,135 x 113 seconds

It took us three times to do the experiment properly. The first time it took 62 seconds until the ‘final hand squeeze’ was accomplished. (the ‘signal’ got lost somewhere along the way)
The seconds time or professor forget to take the time.
And the last time it took us 30 seconds…

It was fun and unusual so everyone left the class laughing.
