My Papa Roach Week :)

Last Sunday, my sister and I saw Papa Roach at X-Fest in Ohio. We made barricade. We were doing pretty good, until Drowning Pool came on. I don't know what it is with Drowning Pool, but the pit turns into hell when they're on stage. Body after body were dropped on my head, as they crowd surfed their way out of the pit. It got so bad, I just stayed on the ground pinned up against the gate to avoid getting hurt more. My hair was pulled out of my head, lost my earrings, shirt was half way off- CRAZY! My sister also hurt her shoulder really bad. I was so happy when they were done. Next up was PRoach, so we had to basically fix our apperances, man-up and get ready to see our boys. PRoach were on fire. They had such a great setlist, which included Burn (my fav of the newer songs), Broken Home, Born with Nothing, etc. It was such an amazing performance. The boys looked visibly happy to see us there, and showed us lots of love. The next day, my sister and I flew back home to Philly. While flying back home, we were contemplating whether or not we could afford going to the Stroudsburg show on Wednesday night. That also required me to drive on the turnpike, something I've never done before. By Tuesday, I made my decision. I got over my fear, and rented a car. We made it to the Stroudsburg show safe and sound (after getting lost). LOL. We made barricade for this show too. This venue had the closest stage I've ever experienced. It was so cool, that I could actually watch Jerry's fingers while he played the guitar. Jerry teased my sister (as usual), while Jacoby gave me alot of attention. He held my hand during the second verse of Lifeline. He also jumped down directly in front of me and climbed onto the gate during Broken Home. With one hand on the microphone, he grabbed my hand with his free hand and kissed it a couple times. Then he held me at his chest while he continued to belt out the song. All I could do was rub his back with my free hand and sing along. Haha. He made so much eye contact with me that evening, I felt like my sis and I were at our own private concert. I also had alot of fun dancing with the photographer and security guards at the show. I was so excited, and so appreciative that Jacoby personally made me feel so special. I would go above and beyond for this band, because they do the same in return for the fans. I am so happy that the boys always notice us at the shows, and give us the special shoutouts. It can be anything, from Jacoby and I doing the same dance I do every time I go to the shows, Jerry teasing us, the boys giving us picks, setlists, autographs, water bottles, drumsticks, taking pictures, hanging out at the buses after the shows. It makes everything worth it! Next up- the show in Atlantic City. I plan to do VIP for this show... I want the opportunity to thank them again for being apart of my life. They are such great people. Until next time my fellow roaches :)
