Madina Lake live! 27.03.10
I don't think many people check out blogs anymore, but I wanna make one anyway so I can remember the night:)
Well basically, I think it was the best concert I've ever been to in my life. Rock City is such a good venue:) Umm we missed the local support band who won a competition to play first, Atlanta city. We were buying t shirts:) lol.
Mayday Parade were first...and they fucking rockeddddd. I really do love them. We kinda got in last so we were like 15 rows back for them. The first mosh pit started with us right in the middle:| I still see us all screaming and running out of there as fast as we possibly could lmao. Still really fun though :) "Jamie All Over" is their best song, you should check them out if you can.
Next were We Are The Ocean. They're kinda screamo in places, so from what I heard I wasn't really looking forward to them. By this time we had worked our way to about the 4th row from the front. And..we nearly died. The crowd was going crazy for them, I think like at least a quarter of people were there just for them. Literally, me, Amy and Anne were holding onto each other for dear life xD We were being completely killed lmao. They were actually really good in the end though:) Not as good as Mayday, but good.
Madina Lake! Thanks to Amy and her pushing skills, we were like 2 rows back for them:D The set was really reaaally good. Statistics, True Love, Me Vs The World, Adalia, Stars and Here I Stand were all incredible. For True Love, Nathan stage dived, so by grabbing his hand he kinda got pulled over to us:D His foot then went for my head, so I pushed it out the way and he ended up rolling over and I hit him on the ass lmao. "I just spanked Nathan Leone!" were my exact words x] So yes... ML were just amazing :D
Crowd Surfers are so annoying. They kept kicking me in the head|: Oh and there was this really pervy man who told me I had a cute face, and then he was like dancing on Amy. He was absolutely hammered lmao, you could tell. Me and this other girl ended up getting really annoyed cause she was getting elbowed on the head, so I ended up hitting him on the head about 6 or 7 times til he turned round and said "How many times are you gonna do that?" xDD I replied "Until you stop dancing on my friend, wanker" lmfao I don't think he heard though. Oh good timessss. But anyway, I was having a conversation with this one girl about Papa Roach so that was nice:)
All in all it was a greeeeeat night. :D

i was at the show two days later at the 02 academy birmingham, i was about 3.4 rows from the front, i really enjoyed we are the ocean, mayday parade were quite good too, as for madina lake they were amazing, they put on a great show, my favourite live performances were stars, pandora, lets get outta here and not for this world, now i am a much bigger fan of madina lake, and its because of papa roach that i am a fan of madina lake at all, :-)
