OMG so if you aren't my friend on Facebook or following me on Twitter, then you won't know this yet..but this morning I booked tickets to go and see Green Day! I can't even control my emotions.. I feel sick with excitement everytime I think about how amazing it's going to be :D:D

Basically, Green Day were the band that got me into rock music. I admit I haven't been a fan for as long as some people, considering the fact that 9 years into their career I was born x] I had always heard singles like Minority, Basket Case, When I Come Around etc when I was younger..but when American Idiot came out in 2004- that was when I really became a fan. The only music I had ever liked before was pop (I WAS 8 years old)..but when GD came along with the single American Idiot, it was just so different to me and amazing, and well basically ever since then they have always been in my top few favourite bands or so.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see them this past tour they did..but for my christmas present from my mum, she booked the tickets to Wembley STADIUM (their first ever gig there!) for next June. General admission tickets for the pitch as well! It seems like so long away.. but I'm sure I'll be blogging the day before talking about how it was aggges ago I booked the tickets. I'm just so so excited :)))))
