Green Day
didn't really know what to title this one, haven't been on in a seriously long time. right now i'm currently listening to Dookie by Green Day. I'm not a big fan of the recent stuff that they have put out. i used to think that they were pretty punk, but now i'm not so sure, now that i've found bands that could kick Green Day's ass on the punk scale. They kinda lost that sound that would hit you in the face and say "I really don't give a fuck about jack shit." however i did buy 21st Century Breakdown, it just didn't do it for me. there was a couple of songs that were okay, but that was about it for me.

I have all the Green Day CD's. I like the earlier CD's better, I think "Nimrod" is one of my favorite. "American Idiot" I liked but it was my least favorite CD. Its weird to me seeing their fan base explode with this CD. Now their concerts are in large arenas where Green Day looked like fucking ants at the last concert I went to. Just a few years earlier I was going to small venues where I was hanging out at the rail.
Green Day has a nearly 20 year long history at this point. Groups, people, and music are always changing. I am so glad to see Green Day still Rocking!!!!!!

yea they're not as punk but trust me if you would've gone to one of the concerts in 09 you would've loved it and forgotten about your not so positive thoughts about the 21st century breakdown album i know i did they're still green day no matter what and they're the greatest doesn't matter what they're doing.
